Since opening in 2001, Body ‘N’ Sole has been owned and operated by Nikki MacGillivary Bsc,C Ped (C), C Ped Tech (C), a certified and experienced Orthopaedic Technologist and Pedorthist who hails from Cape Breton. Nikki studied at the University College of Cape Breton (UCCB), where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree and then a Certificate of Orthopedic Technology. She then continued on to the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology (NSIT), where she received training in Medical Laboratory Technology. She has also received extensive training from Orthopaedic Surgeons and Technologists to become one of the few Certified Orthopedic Technologists in the Halifax/Dartmouth area.

Nikki has been working in the rehabilitation industry for over eight years. Aside from her years providing hands-on treatment, her extensive training in Medical Laboratory Technology provides her with additional knowledge, which she applies to each of her patients. Nikki’s cheerful outlook and vibrant energy creates a unique clinic experience that leaves her clients relaxed and on their way to good health.
